“POP-UP CAFES” AS TACTICAL URBANISM:
In New York, “pop-up cafes” have begun sprouting up as inexpensive ways to make streets and public spaces more people-friendly. By simply taking space that’s being underutilized and making the space pro-pedestrian, the street is safer and more welcoming.
